The goal of this conversation is to help normalize and educate our daughters all about periods. They hate it, but it’s really important they know what’s happening with their bodies, and that there’s nothing gross or wrong with it.
Helping your daughter know her body
- Body parts inside and out
- What are hormones?
- The 4 phases of the menstrual cycle
Knowing the signs that something is wrong
- The signs to be concerned about
Finding gratitude and beauty in our menstruating bodies
- Scientific reasons periods are necessary
- Using the seasons of our menstrual cycle to become more in tune with ourselves
